Paul S. Maybaum Fine Curtains was founded in 1987, establishing itself as a premier provider of high-end custom-made curtains and soft goods tailored specifically for interior designers. The company quickly gained a reputation for its meticulous craftsmanship and attention to detail.

In 2018, Paul S. Maybaum retired, and the company was acquired by Todd Laufersweiler. Laufersweiler Inc continues the legacy of excellence by retaining the original team of employees who have been with the company for over twenty years. Under Laufersweiler’s leadership, the company has expanded its offerings to include automated shades and draperies, integrating modern technology with its renowned craftsmanship.
